Lampard, 34, who spent 13 years at City rivals Chelsea before being released by the latter this year, recently signed a two-year contract with New York City FC.
On the 3rd of August, Man City announced he would be joining the club on a six-month long loan deal, set to end in January 2015, two months before the Major League Soccer season begins.
